PracSuite provides several options to customise how patient file numbers are generated.
To customise File Numbers, go to Settings > General > General
System Generated - this is the default setting, which simply generates a numerical file number
Note: Turn on the Enable Editing setting if you wish to be able to manually edit file numbers.
Sequential Numeric - this is the same approach as the System Generated file numbers, however there's the additional option to enable editing of the system generated file number
Prefix + Sequential Numeric
Surname + Sequential Numeric
User entered - this requires a file number to be manually entered each time a new patient file is created
