How to Clear Your Web Browser Cache
Updated over 7 months ago

We always recommend closing your web browser and trying again if you're experiencing issues in PracSuite. If problems persist, a common troubleshooting step is to clear your web browser cache by following the instructions below:

Clearing cache data will log you out of PracSuite and require you to re-enter the 2-factor Authentication code even if you selected 'Trust this device for 7 days' when you last logged in.

Google Chrome

Chrome - Option 1

Select the Settings icon to the left of the URL and then select Cookies and site data.

Select Manage on-device site data.

Select the delete icons next to both PracSuite websites.

Select Done to finalise this process.

Chrome - Option 2

The above method for Google Chrome does not always clear the cache entirely. If you continue to have issues after completing the above steps, try the following method which will clear the entire cache for Google Chrome, and not just the cache for the PracSuite.

Keep in mind this will clear the saved data for ALL websites, logging you out of any sites you are logged into and clear any saved passwords for these sites.

Navigate to the 3 dots in the right corner of Google Chrome, and in this menu select 'Settings'.

Change the time range to 'All time', and then select 'Clear Data'.

Microsoft Edge

Select the Padlock icon to the left of the URL.

Select the 'Cookies' option.

Select app.pracsuite.com and select remove.

Firefox

Select the Padlock icon to the left of the URL and select the 'Clear Cookies and Site Data' option.

Select the 'Remove' option

Note: This above method for Firefox does not always clear the cache entirely for PracSuite. If you continue to have issues after completing the above steps, try the following method which will clear the entire cache for Firefox, and not just the cache for the PracSuite websites.

Keep in mind this will clear the saved data for ALL websites, logging you out of any sites you are logged into and clear any saved passwords for these sites.

Navigate to the 3 lines in the right corner of Firefox, and in this menu select 'Settings'.

Select 'Privacy & Security'

Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data and select Clear Data...

Select both Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content

Select Clear
