If patient names on your appointment book appear as private, the 'Hide Names' privacy feature is active.
You can toggle the hide names privacy feature using the 'h' key on your keyboard. A full list of appointment book keyboard shortcuts can be found here.
You can also go to the settings icon in the bottom left of the appointment book and manually toggle the hide names feature as shown below:
