Marketing Statuses can be found on the Patient's File > Patient Details tab under Communication & Marketing.

There is the option to select Soft Opt-In, Soft Opt-Out, Opt-In or Opt-Out.

Soft Opt-in and Soft Opt-Out indicate that your practice has decided what marketing material the patient will receive.

Opt-In and Opt-Out are for when the patient has made the decision about what marketing material they wish to receive from your practice. It's currently possible for patients to make this decision if your online booking system is configured to request marketing preferences when patients book online. Alternatively, you may set this based on the patient's responses to your new patient intake form.

Patients who have either Soft Opt-Out or Opt-Out selected will automatically be excluded from the bulk communication function available on PracSuite reports.
