How to Book Multiple Appointments

If a patient requires multiple appointments, it is easy to make all appointments at one time using the Schedule function.

Booking a New Appointment Schedule

On the Appointment Book, select a day and time for the first appointment in the schedule.

Search for the patient you're booking the schedule for.

Select the Appointment type and click Book Schedule.

The Scheduler Pane will appear.

Customise the recurrence settings appropriately.

The scheduler pane will be filled according to the recurrence settings.

You can modify any instances of the recurrence schedule as required.

You can also use the menu on the right-hand side to apply the preferences of a particular instance all appointments in the schedule, or to remove an instance.

When you've Check & Reserve Times to determine whether the times are available to accommodate the recurrence.

If a conflict is detected and a recurrence instance is unable to be booked, you will see a red exclamation will be shown next to it. You can use the drop-down menu to select another time that is available on that date or choose to delete that instance of the recurrence.

If adjustments have been made, select the Check & Reserve Times button again.

Once any conflicts have been resolved, you'll be able to select Book Schedule to finalise the process. An option is also available in the dropdown to Print and/or Email the patient their upcoming appointment schedule.

Editing an Existing Appointment Schedule

Appointments in an existing schedule can be edited in bulk from the Appointment Book.

Select an appointment in the schedule from the Appointment Book and select Appointment Details.

Select Edit Schedule.

Only future appointments in the schedule will be displayed by default.

Make any changes to the appointment schedule as required and then select Edit Schedule.

If no conflicts are detected, you will receive a confirmation that these appointments have been successfully edited.

Any conflicts will be highlighted and will need to be resolved.

Select Edit Schedule to finalise the process.
