Start with exporting your Patient List to Excel.
Don't apply any filters to the report if you want to view numbers for all patients. Alternatively, narrow the search range to patients with appointments or transactions in a particular date range.
Select the Export Button and open the spreadsheet in Excel.
Select the column header to highlight the entire column for either the Suburb or Postcode, depending on your preference. Only select one column header.
Go to the Insert menu and select Recommended Pivot Tables.
You will be taken to a new sheet within the spreadsheet showing a pivot table.
On the right-hand side, drag the suburb (or postcode) from the Field Name section into the Values section.
You should see a table showing how many patients live in each suburb.
