Appointment Alerts can be turned on individually for each practitioner and have extensive options to receive an SMS, email and/or system alert when an appointment is made, rescheduled or cancelled by a PracSuite user or client online via the online booking system.
📝 Note that a practitioner will not receive an alert for appointments they have altered themselves nor for any past appointments.
Enabling Alert Preferences Per Practitioner
Edit a Practitioner file by going to Settings > Practitioners > Practitioners > select the Practitioner > select Edit. Select the options as required. Standard SMS charges apply for SMS alerts.
Setting up the practitioner's mobile number for SMS Notifications
To enable SMS notifications, the practitioner will need to have a User Account. Make sure their Mobile number is entered correctly and that they are set as the correct practitioner.
