Connect your Parchment subscription to allow authorised prescribers to open Parchment patient profiles from within PracSuite. Once linked, practitioners can:
Create new Parchment patient profiles
Open Parchment patient profiles to create new medical prescriptions, including escripts
View existing prescriptions for a patient within PracSuite

The setup will involve creating prescriber profiles for any practitioners who wish to use the Parchment integration features in PracSuite.

Enabling the Parchment integration
Once you've completed the setup of your Parchment account, you can start the process of integrating with PracSuite.
1. In PracSuite, go to Settings > Integrations > Parchment.
2. Enable the integration and select Add Organisation.
3. Next, log in to your Parchment account and go to the Onboarding tab
4. Select Integrate Your Practice Management System.
5. Scroll down to PracSuite and select Manage.
6. Select Generate Credentials.
7. You will be shown an Organisation ID and Organisation Secret. Copy your Organisation ID and Organisation Secret into PracSuite.
Linking Prescribers with PracSuite Practitioner Files
You will also need to associate each PracSuite practitioner with their corresponding Parchment User ID.
1. You can find a prescriber's Parchment User ID within Parchment in Settings > Users
2. In PracSuite, select Add User.
3. Enter the associated Parchment User ID for the associated practitioner
4. Select Save to finalise you're changes.
If you've entered the correct Parchment Organisation credentials, you should see a verified badge.
Using Parchment features from the Clinical Notes tab in PracSuite
Only users with a linked practitioner file can access the Parchment integration features. If you are not a practitioner, or your PracSuite user account is not linked to your practitioner file, Parchment features will not be available.
From the Clinical Notes tab of a patient file, you will find options to:
Create In Parchment - Creates a new patient file in Parchment
PracSuite will pass the following patient information to Parchment:
First Name (required)
Middle Name
Last Name (required)
Date of Birth (required)
Sex (required)
Address
Phone
Email
Medicare Card Number
DVA Card Number
Open In Parchment - You'll see this button if a PracSuite patient file has already been linked with a Parchment patient profile.
Viewing Existing Prescriptions - After starting a new clinical note, select the Parchment tab in the history pane on the right to view existing prescriptions for this patient.
The Collapse All/Expand All button can help view a full history of a patient's prescriptions. You can also use the refresh icon to refresh the list after creating a new prescription.
