PracSuite can automatically send form links to patients in both Appointment Confirmations (sent at the time the appointment is booked) as well as in Appointment Reminders (generally sent 1-2 days before an appointment).
The article assumes that you have created a Form Template that you wish to use for these scenarios. Click here to view further information on how to create a Form Template.
Adding Your Form Link to an SMS or Email template
For both Confirmations and Reminders, the first step is to create an SMS or email template with your desired text as well as the form link.
Along with your desired text, use the Form drop-down list to insert your form link into the template.
After selecting your desired form, you will see a merge tag in your template which will be used to automatically generate the form link when an Appointment Confirmation or Appointment Reminder is sent to patients.
Configuring Appointment Confirmations
Appointment Confirmations can be used to automatically send patients a link to complete the form at the time an appointment is booked. Once your SMS or email template has been completed, the next step is to select this template when configuring Appointment Confirmations. Configuring Appointment Reminders
Appointment Reminders can be used to automatically send patients a link to complete the form at the time an appointment is booked. Once your SMS or email template has been completed, the next step is to select this template when configuring Appointment Confirmations.
Once completed by the patient, the form will be sent to PracSuite for staff to process. You can learn more about processing completed forms here.
