Updated over a week ago

Dashboards are a tool for visualizing data by adding and configuring widgets, which display live statistics and information and provide insight into your business performance.

The following widgets are available:

  • Appointment Totals
The total number of appointments in a date range, broken down by date, appointment type, business, profession or practitioner.

  • Billing Totals
Billing or payment totals in a date range, broken down by date, practitioner, profession, business, item code, fee category, schedule or third-party payer.

  • Patient Visit Average
A Patient Visit Average for each practitioner, or the total for a business or profession.

  • Online Bookings
The total number of online bookings in a date range, broken down by date, appointment type, business, profession or practitioner.

  • Unique Patients
The total number of patients with an appointment or transaction in a date range.

  • Appointment Book Utilisation
The percentage of utilised time on the Appointment Book, broken down by date, practitioner or business.

To add a widget to the dashboard, click Add Widget.

Select a widget to add to your dashboard.

In this example we are selecting the Appointment Totals widget.

Enter a Name for the widget.

This should be something descriptive, based on your intended use of the widget and the filters you are selecting.

Choose how you'd like the information in the widget to be presented, either a Value, Table or Graph.

Choose a Date Range.

Use the Compare option if you'd like a comparison against a historical date range (e.g. 'This Month' vs 'Last Month).

Choose a Business.

Choose a Profession.

Choose a Practitioner.

Choose an Appointment Type.

Choose whether to Count Group Appts as a Single appt, Multiple appts or to Exclude them altogether.

Choose whether to Count Notes as Appts.

This refers to the 'Notes' that can be added to the Appointment Book, and determines if these are counted in the totals.

Use the Breakdown by option to determine how the data is consolidated. You can choose from Date, Appointment Type, Business, Profession or Practitioner.

Use the Display drop-down to determine how the widget will present the data.

The options available in this menu depend on the 'Type' of widget you have selected. For example the 'Graph' type can be displayed as a Column, Line or Area graph.

Choose to display the data in either Days, Weeks or Months.

The options available in this drop-down will depend on the 'Date Range' you have selected, and will determine what totals is displayed on the widget (i.e. daily totals, weekly totals, monthly totals).

Choose to show the Legend or not.

Choose the Refresh Rate you'd like for the widget.

Choose the Theme, this is the colour scheme the widget will display in.

Once done, click OK.

This will add the widget to the Dashboard.

In this example we have a widget displaying Appointment Totals for all businesses, professions and practitioners. The days are displayed on the X Axis, while the total number of appointments per day is represented on the Y Axis.
