How to Mark a Practitioner as Inactive
How to Mark a Practitioner as Inactive

Disabling a Practitioner & User who has left your clinic

Updated over 7 months ago

When a practitioner leaves your clinic there are two sections you need to mark them as inactive, these are:

When a practitioner has been marked as inactive, their appointment book column will be hidden. Their appointment data can still be viewed within the appointments tab of the patient file and using the Appointment report. All inactive practitioners will appear in the Inactive tab when using the 'Appointment with' filter on the Appointment report.

Before marking a practitioner as inactive, you should thoroughly check the Appointment Book for future appointments that may have been booked with that practitioner. The Appointment report is ideal for this purpose.

To mark a Practitioner File as Inactive

Select the Practitioner you need to mark as inactive.

Once both the Practitioner File and the User Account have been marked as inactive, the practitioner who has left will have no further access to PracSuite and will be unable to login.
