COVID-19 vaccination status

PracSuite can store a patient's COVID-19 vaccination status, show warnings about it, and show an icon on the appointment book.

Showing or hiding COVID-19 vaccination status

If your clinic doesn't need to record COVID-19 vaccination status, you can turn it off.

  1. Under COVID-19 Vaccination Status, turn off Show COVID-19 Vaccination Status.

  2. Select Save.

When this is off, the COVID vaccination field on the patient file, the COVID-19 warnings and the vaccination icons on the appointment book are hidden.

Recording a patient's vaccination status

A patient's COVID-19 Vaccination status can be selected in the patient file by going to the Patient File > Patient Details > select Edit and under the Additional section you have a COVID Vaccination option.

Use the COVID Vaccination drop-down to record the patient's vaccination status and the date the patient was last vaccinated.

The COVID vaccination status will be displayed as follows:

Vaccination status warnings and icons

In Settings > General > Warnings & Alerts you can configure whether warnings should appear regarding a patient's vaccination status when:

  • Opening a patient file

  • When booking or deleting an appointment

  • When marking a patient as arrived

It is also possible to display an icon on the appointment book if a patient is full or partially vaccinated, as well as if the patient is exempt from receiving the vaccination.
