Overview
Advanced Letter Templates are a new, AI-ready format for creating letters, summaries, and clinical reports in PracSuite. They are designed specifically to work with PracSuite AI and address many of the limitations encountered with standard letter templates.
Compared to regular letter templates, Advanced Letter Templates provide the following advantages:
Preserved formatting during AI generation
Text styling, such as headings, spacing, and emphasis, is maintained when content is generated or rewritten by PracSuite AI, reducing the need for manual cleanup.
AI generation within tables
PracSuite AI can generate content directly inside table cells, enabling structured outputs such as assessment summaries, goal tables, and progress grids.
Clear visual identification of AI-generated content
Content generated by PracSuite AI is highlighted in green, allowing practitioners to easily review, validate, and edit AI-produced text.
Clear visual identification of merge field data
Inserted merge field values are highlighted in blue, making it easier to distinguish patient and appointment data from authored or AI-generated content.
Together, these features make Advanced Letter Templates more predictable, transparent, and practical for clinical documentation workflows that rely on PracSuite AI.
